Storyline Bad Boys: Ride or Die (2024)

Detectives Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) return to solve a new case. Their investigation uncovers a widespread corruption scandal that reaches deep into the Miami Police Department. The truth begins to emerge through clues left by their late Captain Howard (Joe Pantoliano), who, after his death, is falsely accused of being a long-time informant for drug cartels—yet leaves behind critical evidence for the detectives. As the investigation unfolds, Lowrey and Burnett find themselves framed and forced to go on the run due to a complex conspiracy. To clear their names and expose the real villains, they must operate outside the boundaries of the law, forging an uneasy alliance with Mike’s estranged son, Armando Aretas (Jacob Scipio), who is currently incarcerated in a high-security prison following the events of the previous film.
