A former professional boxer is planning a triumphant comeback to the boxing ring to chase one final championship opportunity. However, before stepping back into the ring, he needs to shed some extra pounds to meet the weight requirements. In a clandestine hotel room in Las Vegas, he teams up with a dubious trainer to undertake a rigorous and illegal weight-loss regimen, pushing the limits to make the weight for his comeback fight.
