The movie narrates the journey of four Cree siblings—Connie, Marianne, Gwen, and Anthony—who were separated as infants during Canada's infamous Sixties Scoop, a period when Indigenous children were forcibly removed from their families and placed with white adoptive parents. Eager and curious yet simultaneously anxious and apprehensive about possible rejection, the siblings decide to reunite for the first time during a holiday weekend set amidst the picturesque mountains of Banff.
