Regina and Valerio are a vibrant, passionate couple living a glamorous life in their luxurious villa perched atop Rio de Janeiro's scenic hills. Enjoying their wealth and freedom, they find themselves entangled in the dangerous world left behind by Valerio’s late father, the city's notorious mob boss. Desperate to break free from this criminal underworld, they seek a way out. However, Valerio’s uncle, Linduarte, pressures him to uphold the family legacy and take over the criminal empire. When Valerio and Regina confront Linduarte in a bid to persuade him otherwise, a tragic accident occurs—leading to Linduarte’s unexpected death.
