A filmmaker from Sicily is approached by a regional producer to create a film centered on a significant figure from the Catania area. Upon examining the project's direction, he recognizes that it conflicts with his artistic vision and chooses to decline. Nonetheless, the persistent producer refuses to accept rejection, and under threats of violence, forces the director to proceed with the production against his will.
