Oscar, a middle-aged and unpredictable man, is a once-promising writer who has fallen into despair and disillusionment with life. Unemployed and residing with his family, he drifts aimlessly through the streets of Medellín, often intoxicated and brooding over the decline of literature in his homeland. He’s become the archetype of the suffering artist, trapped in clichés and self-pity. Yet, when a young aspiring writer seeks his guidance, Oscar sees a glimmer of hope for redemption—if he can manage to get past his own flaws and seize the opportunity before it slips away.
