Over a span of more than fifteen years, Bojarski lived a secret life, hidden from his family, as he meticulously crafted counterfeit banknotes in a modest garden shed. His forgeries were so convincing that they surpassed the quality of genuine bills issued by the Banque de France. Throughout this period, Bojarski skillfully evaded law enforcement, maintaining his clandestine operation while remaining undetected. His relentless pursuit by police turned into a personal vendetta, especially for Commissaire Mattei, whose obsession with capturing the elusive forger transformed their cat-and-mouse game into a dramatic duel.
