After a 37-year hiatus, the iconic canals of Amsterdam are once again stained with a chilling red hue. Tara Lee, a driven and determined young detective with the Amsterdam police, finds herself at the center of a series of gruesome crimes along the waterways. To unravel the mystery, she seeks the expertise of Visser, a seasoned retired detective renowned for apprehending a notorious serial killer who once terrorized these very canals.
