A massive public infrastructure project is underway in West Africa. Horn, the site supervisor, and Cal, an aspiring engineer, share accommodations within the secure compound behind double gates. That same evening, Leone, Horn’s newlywed wife, arrives to join them. Later, a mysterious man named Alboury appears at the perimeter fence, casting a shadow over the night. He claims to be seeking the body of his brother, who tragically died earlier that day on the construction site. Alboury’s relentless quest to retrieve the remains persists throughout the night, creating a tense and haunting atmosphere that Leone witnesses unfold, witnessing the unfolding tragedy as it happens.
