Min-tae, a former notorious gangster who has since embraced a quiet, retired existence, is shocked to find the bloodied body of his only surviving relative—his younger brother, Seok-tae. With Seok-tae’s wife, Moon-young, missing and potentially involved, Min-tae begins to investigate, discovering a suspicious last phone call between her and an enigmatic novelist. This leads him into a relentless quest for the truth, even as his former criminal organization and law enforcement agencies close in, casting doubt on everyone's motives.
